Hello:

I was testing Promi 1.55c in (all games with WK civs, UP1.5 last beta, and Voobly) :

-Map Arabia 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4
-Map Nomad: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4


I played few games (like ~15 ~20 games):
-In this maps, Promi always prefer defesive strategy (keep army in base and never make a atack in enemy base or raid).
-Arabia: Is it possible to add the ability to "steal" the boar?
-Nomad: promi dont take fast the boar when enemy is near
-Arabia: Is it possible to add the ability to bother with the scout (dark Age) by hitting the villagers?
-Arabia: It happened to me of fighting in dark age with the scout and Promi lets his scout die (Is it possible that he chooses good fights or stops fighting when his scout is going to die? take a hill?)
-In nomad, pormi make some galleys but dont want go to kill fish enemy. Sometimes promi make only 2 galleys and in Castle Age make the upgrade (with only 2 galleys).
-With Trush tactic (nomad or arabia), promi die soon (promi put all vills in the Tc and unguarrision and guarrision and loop). Promi dont want make a counter-tower or wall the tower. With 1 or 2 towers this loop appear.
-Promi dont wall his resources (with vill inside to stay safe) when enemy go ManAtArms or Scouts.
-Promi fight with archers when enemy have more army (3:1 or more relation)
-promi fight down a very large hill

Nice things:
-In a game I wanted to raid with scouts and promi walloped with stone. I did not expect that. The problem was that a piece of the wall was incomplete and did not complete it again. Maybe there is some detail missing.
-In nomad as an ally he marked me where he made the TC. I did not expect it either. Maybe it would be better to improve Promi TC time.
-In nomad, promi make a tower in Stone/Gold exposed. And make only 1 camp if stone and gold is so near. (really nice).
-Arabia: i was going scout rush and promi make good micro with vills fighting (but It would be better if you improve this).

May be im I'm marking familiar things. Or I am marking something that for the development of AIs is impossible to modify. I am new to this and they are the first IA's I try.

Another tests in Arabia 1v1 with WK civs: (last UP1.5)
(i play always with Hard=Difficulty becouse i understand this is the hardest without cheats, is right?) Res: standard

-Going 23pop 2ranges with Ethiopians, i made 6 archs and im always the first who atack. Promi is waiting in base. When i arrive to Promi Base if i dont atack, his vills keep working. I can stay with my army (in atack range) and promi dont Garrison the vills. If i make a atack, promi do guarrision.
When i back to my base, promi attack my base but very late. And promi send his army disorganized (it does not put it together). And promi fight with hill disadvantage (under the hill).
When promi arrive to my base, fight with first Vill/Army near (promi dont choose who is better fight)

-I made a castle forward and pormi attack some building near to my castle with a mangonel (then, my castle kill his mangonel).

-when im walled with buildings and palisade: when promi arrive to my base, promi dont try attack my walls and go inside. Promi always prefer to wait for the siegue.

-In long games (post imperial age) promi dont make buildings forward (castle, siegue, etc). And promi make all buildings in his base so disorganized (dont use buildings like wall or protection).

-Something werid happen when i attack his tc: promi guarrison and unguarrision.his vills like a loop (undecided).

-Until now (like 30 games played with all wk civs in Mirror) I never saw Promi doing the tactic of 3 scouts (or full scouts in feudal). Promi can make some pikes when i go scouts but defensive.

-For some reason i feel Promi playing better in TG than 1v1 (but i played 5 games in TG only).

-Nomad: when i have sheeps in my TC, promi want take my sheeps and suicide a lot of vills with my tc trying to get this sheeps. (Also happen when promi is walking in the map, he dont care about tc's and lost many vills).

-Nomad: going monk + siegue, promi dont make any answer to stop this strategy. Promi never delete his Knights when monk is trying to convert (the same for buildings).

-About gg game: when the "game is over" promi still in the game, and never say "gg". The only way to win is defeated.



As I said before: I'm writing what i saw. May be those changes are imposible (aoe limit, script limit, etc). May be is known bugs.

Really thank you and all scripters for do these IA's. I always played with Computer (aoc normal ia) and was very bad. When i tryed IA's from this page, i was impressed.

Hey,
If i'm right, Promi had some problems with LN in the previous round of MAOI2 against The_Horde. Any chance Promi will be updated with the small fix needed before the semies ? :rolleyes:

It will be difficult for me to update Promi in the next couple of days but i hope to get a fix in on sunday by the latest. :)

As we know ,in recent WK 5.8.1 version,coinage moved up to Castle Age, Banking moved up to Imperial age,which may cause many AIs to have a bug when they try to sling,including Promi.
So can you update a new version of Promi in order to adapt it to the new version?I sincerely hope to continue using promi AI in the new version.Thanks a lot!
