TiTAN is a custom AI for Age of Empires II HD Edition + The Forgotten
This AI can play all Civilizations and on most Random Maps


TiTAN is able to
- lure boars
- play balanced difficult levels
- attack in different unit groups
- build outposts near enemy base
- research almost all special techs
- wall in the complete base (improved)
- build wonders / attack enemy wonders
- build military buildings near enemy base
- build defence towers in and around the base
- try get all relics / get relics back from enemy
- play single/multiplayer (as ally / neutral / enemy)
- attacks walls / towers / castles with Petards & other siege

as ally
- help you with resources
- tell you when it need resources
- tell you when its unable to send resources
- tell you when it attack
- help you when you under attack
- tell you when its unable to help or attack
- respond to the taunt 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 31, 36 and 38
- stay defensive (taunt 36) until you send taunt (12)
- special taunts 231-232-233-234-235-236-237-238


In the ZIP are 2 AI's included, one normal AI and a Land AI
Both AI's are same except the Land AI never build docks !


TiTAN AI can play all Random Maps + Real World Maps except
-Crater Lake, -Migration, -MegaRandom, -Hamburger

TiTAN Land can play all Random Maps except
-Archipelago, -Islands, -Rivers, -Team Islands, -Budapest, -City of Lakes

I can't test it because there is an error in this line:
(up-timer-status 32 == timer-disabled)

Could it be that I've used usual Conquerors patch 1.4 instead of HD or FE?

You should also mention that your script cheats on all difficulty levels, most (not all) of the resource cheats (there aren't only resource cheats) are contained to the 'hard' and 'hardest' difficulty levels though.

The AIs you'll find here don't cheat on any difficulty other than 'hardest' if they don't explicitly mention that they do. To add to that, the standard HD AI never cheats on any difficulty level.

Also you ripped off code parts from the standard HD AI without giving any credit, aside from that the AI code is very basic and doesn't seem to follow any strategy - it seems as though it just relies on cheats to make up for its flaws. I mean i don't blame you for being a beginner, everyone was one at some point. But if you're going to copy code and make your AI cheat then say so.

Campeador, you need the HD Edition from Steam. This AI works also with Vanilla HD Edition or with the DLC.

Promiskuitiv, thanks for your answer and explain, ive also read your message at reddit.
I didnt know that cheating AIs not very like to see, i personally like it, when the AI is strong, because its a AI and not a human but thats about taste.
But you correct i forgot to tell to the others that it using cheats. Sorry that i also forgot before to add the credit for your parts of the code, didnt want make you angry with that.
i just can learn from it and i try to improve the AI more and more when i have time, maybe also with a non cheating version later.

No problem, as long as you mention it it should be fine.
The scripter of BruteForce and i think even the one of the Resonance AI uploaded screenshots of their AIs demolishing the standard HD AI without mentioning that their AIs cheat. Both changed it now afaik (their description).a lot of work has gone in to the HD AI and it's now undoubtedly the best non-cheating HD compatible AI and it's just meh if others think it's bad beacause an other AI easily beats it (and they don't know that it cheats).
And as i said in the reddit post people who specifically look for a challenge can download your AI while others can choose themselves if they want to play vs a cheating AI or not too.

Sry, but i tested your AI and it is bugged, in the begin there are a Scout explore problem with notification error, i used marco polo to see whats hap, and the scouts just stand and do not do anything last 3 minutes...

ER please close this thread if possible, the "TiTAN AI" is a complete ripoff of the Resonance Bot by Resonance22 and the official HD AI by Archon and me. And when i say complete i mean complete, there are barely any differences when using a program to compare Resonance Bot and TiTAN AI (aside from the code of the official HD AI) and the ones there are just remove some conditions (something like 40 changed lines total?) which made the AI bug.
The TiTAN AI guy then tried to make money with ads and even created an own website + facebook page for this copy without giving any credit. When Resonance confronted him about it he just went to hide and never came back since then.
