Updated to try immobilise monks and prevent them from converting / healing as well. The downside is that the monk has to end up carrying a relic, which may not fit into your scenario.
To use it, place a relic right next to the monk in the scenario editor and place a monastery in the direction that you want the monk to be facing once he has picked up the relic. In the "players" menu, choose "ER_totally_immobile" as the personality for that computer player.
How it works : when the game starts, the monk will pick up the relic and turn to face the monastery to start returning the relic. The instant the monk picks up the relic, the ai will detect that fact and delete the monastery, leaving the monk "stranded"
