This random map file will not create trees that interfere with your wall placement. Please download it and help me test it thoroughly. I'm open to constructive criticism for any improvements.

Edit (1/21/05): Because there are very few trees close to the town center, you will need to set your initial value for camp-max-distance to at least 40 to avoid running out of wood.
