Wattle Empire

Here is my new AI, but not just any :D

This AI was created in honor of Wattle, in exchange for his gift last Sunday: he gave me Dynasties of India and Return of Rome ( :dance ) , so I wanted to thank him.

Creating this AI was an opportunity for me to discover the 4 Indian civs (didn't study the Roman yet). Wattle therefore plays Gurjaras, Hindustanis, Bengalis and Dravidians.
I started working on it yesterday in the morning and it took almot 16 hours of work (and fun). Don't expect too much about its competitiveness, but it's not playing bad and i polished a lot the early game for Gurjaras, which requiered some specific stuffs ; i'm quiet happy with the result.

Wattle can play 1v1s but will prefer team games.
i tested it on arabia only.
He loves to chat and is kinda emotional while playing. Be nice with him.

MAJOR update !
- Improved Hindustanis for flank position
- improved the castle placement
- fixed a bug related to the closest enemy detection
- improved the chat ; to have the whole discussion, you'll need 4 Wattle in a same team.
- improved details here and there...

Here are the prefered positions per civ :

As FLANKS
- Hindustanis
- Dravidians

As POCKETS
- Gurjaras
- Bengalis

rofl :rofl This AI is very unique and the most talkative I have ever witnessed :lol:
It really looks like Esty had his fun and it doesn't play bad at all.
MangudAI-all-in clearly has its dire trouble with Shrivamsha Rider.
A nice showcase for the indian civs.

Wattle Empire 2025 Uploaded

- it will try to defend with spears in very early game if hurt by cavalry/scouts
- can hit and run with chakram-throwers
- military micro kinda improved

New release :
- Added another condition to force Wattle Empire to escrow for an earlier imperial-age research
- Fixed issues with the hit and run for Gurjaras
