But if its a PIDM, you would be in the Post-Imperial and then wouldn't need any?

Yes, post-imperial age all researchs have already researched at the game-start.
No need research rule. :lol:

My old one use units name instead of defconst, but it is not likely have a counter unit. i.e. if the plan is militiaman rush, it will not suppose train spearman even found enemy has knight, because traininig spearman will block the building training miltiaman.

What I mean is my past ai don't have significant counter units. :head
