Hello Kimberly,

Chill seems to crash on me now with the new update- and Chill playing as Japanese. It appears to be random, but in the later ages (Castle/Imperial).

Thanks.

Just thought I'd respond to the above post for those not on the Discord.

Cheeseontoast figured out what occurred with this script and TUQ caused by up-reset-attack-now being broken in the engine for now.

Any lines that include the above command have to be commented out.

Another small update - I reversed the change to the attack behaviour. Meaning, that the AI is back to using attack groups instead of attack now.

Just made an account to say I gave Chill a try and she seems really fun! I was fed up with the Definitive AI because it was so boring (No walls, spams Knights or Xbows 90% of the time) but the classic CD AI doesn't seem to know how to play some newer civs like Romans.

Just had one game so far I pitted Chill vs the classic CD AI in a 3v3 just to see how they compare and Chill won decisively (Hard difficulty)

The upgrade priority might be a bit off it took her quite awhile to upgrade her spearmen to pikemen but crucially the Roman Chill did get to Legionairy and actually use them which is something CD AI did not.

I've got back into playing AOE2 thanks to the Chronicles DLC as an infantry fan I love the Athenians and Spartans with their Hoplites, not sure if you are planning to update this AI at all but would love to see Chill be able to use the new civs.

Regardless update or not thanks again for making this AI it really feels like an improved AI that still feels 'classic' and not for people with crazy APM and build orders. :)

Thank you so much for your kind words.
The upgrade priority might be a bit off
the AI prefers upgrading the economy first and then her most used units. Some upgrades like spearmen have a lower priority.
she seems really fun!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you enjoying this AI <3
if you are planning to update this AI
Eventually I want to update it, that is for sure. But if I include these special DLC civs ... I don't know for sure. Probably. But I need to find time first, so don't expect anything for at least 7 months :(
